For 10 days, a group of people attend Karma Yoga, inspirational morning yoga with detox meal plans. Paul Denham checks it out.

Brooke Taylor, 32, sponsorship account manager. "My sister teaches Karma yoga. I was ordered to do it. I definitely have more flexibility."

Jade Chong, 25, financial adviser. "I had built too much muscle and had no flexibility from kick boxing. My body isn't bulky any more."

Brett Mason, 32, builder. "I've lost weight and am getting fitter. I find it easier to get up in the mornings as my body is rejuvenated."

Sunara Fernando, 37, business manager. "My body shape has definitely changed. It's more physical and aerobic than most yogas."

Ren Fernando, 34, architect. "I love how holistic Karma Yoga is. It's not just for the body but the mind as well and is great for strength."

Fiona McAllister, 33, product manager. "I love the balance between nutrition and lifestyle this offers. Programs are specific."

Fiona Thomas, 40, marketing director. "I love being a part of a group with the same intention. I really feed off the group energy."

The next 10-day Karma Yoga courses start on October 11, in Woolloomooloo, Bondi and Manly and costs $345. For information, phone 9130 1166 or see www.karma.net.au.
